What is Storymailed?
When I was a little girl in Africa, I loved getting letters from pen pals in faraway places. Each letter felt magical! It taught me about other cultures, foods, music, and ways of life.

StoryMailed brings that same magic to your mailbox. Every month, you get one letter with a story and little surprises. They are meant to make you feel seen, inspired, and connected.

Important: These letters are stories to enjoy. They are not advice or medical guidance, and I am not a doctor or medical professional.

How does it work?

  • You get one full story series in 6 letters.
  • Letters arrive once a month (for six).
  • It takes 6 months to complete the story/series/volume.
  • Each envelope has a heartfelt story that may include fun extras.
  • Every story is meant to be enjoyed at your own pace.
  • Letters are designed to comfort, inspire, and bring joy — not to replace professional advice.

How do I subscribe?
Go to the Storymailed Shop website, pick your storyfrom our catalog and sign up.

Once you subscribe and pay, you can expect to receive your first letter before the end of the month — as long as you ordered at least 10 days before the month ends. Your first letter will arrive within a week after we verify your address.

How do I update my account info?
Log in to your account and edit your info. If you have any trouble, email us at hello@storymailed.com.

I forgot my password. What do I do?
Click “forgot password” to reset it. If that doesn’t work, email support.

How do I contact customer service?
Email hello@storymailed.com and tell us exactly what you need help with.

What kinds of stories will I get?
Our stories meet you where you are. They can comfort, inspire, or just make you feel connected. They are stories in letters, not advice or therapy.

What makes each letter special?
Each letter is like a little gift! Some come with inspiration, fun surprises, or treasures that bring the story to life.

Are the stories okay for kids?
Yes! Most stories are family-friendly. Some grief or love stories are best read by an adult first.

Can I choose the type of story I get?
Yes! Pick your story from our catalog. You can even select ,multiple stories or keepsakes at checkout.

Will I get the same story twice?
Your account keeps track so you can see all your previous stories. Each subscription is unique. After your subscription ends, you can pick a different story.

What languages are the stories in?
Stories are in English. We can translate them into other languages if requested (may cost extra).

How long will it take to read each letter?
About 10–15 minutes.

Can I share my stories?
Yes! Share them with family and friends, and with us on social media (@storymailed).

What should I do with the extra materials?
Keep them! Many subscribers make scrapbooks, frame them, or use them to decorate. They’re keepsakes meant to be treasured.


Orders

When will I get my first letter?
Once you subscribe and pay, you can expect to receive your first letter before the end of the month — as long as you ordered at least 10 days before the month ends. Your first letter will arrive within a week after we verify your address.

Can I track my subscription?
Yes! Track your subscription through your online account.

Can I start my subscription on a specific date?
Our letters go out on a specific day each month to keep everything on schedule. This helps us make sure every subscriber gets their letters on time. Because of this, we cannot change the subscription dates, but you’ll always know exactly when to expect your next letter!


Payment & Billing

How much does Storymailed cost?

  • Monthly: $14.99/month for 6 months
  • Optional keepsake: You can order a small gift to go with your story.

Can I give Storymailed as a gift?
Absolutely! Use your card for payment and your address for billing, but put the gift recipient’s address as the shipping address.


Shipping

Where do you ship?
Anywhere in the US and around the world!

  • US: 1–2 weeks
  • International: ~2-4 weeks depending on the location

Do you ship to P.O. boxes?
Yes!

Is shipping free?
Yes! Free shipping for all letters.

What if my letter gets lost?
Email us immediately. We’ll help. Send your email to hello@storymailed.com and title it “Lost Letter”.

Can I change my address?
Yes! Log into your account to update your info. If you’re moving, also set up mail forwarding with the post office. Be sure to do this before the monthly letter ships out.


Cancellations

How do I cancel?
Email us at hello@storymailed.com. Tell us your order number or email, recipient name, and story collection.

Can I pause my subscription instead?
Yes! Just email us with the date you’d like to pause and resume.

Do you offer different subscription lengths?
Not at this time. Our standard subscription is 6 months to give you the full story experience.


Refunds

Do you have a satisfaction guarantee?
Yes! If you’re not happy, email us within 15 days of receiving your first letter, and we’ll make it right.
